One of the most popular formal education avenues that exist today is a creative writing master’s in fine arts. However, not everyone can commit to three years of formal education. In this workshop, writers will learn about the principles that are taught in a university such as creative writing resources, networking techniques, reading outside your genre, deadlines, blurbs and queries. Attendees will walk away with action items and to-do lists on where they can obtain the same information that is readily available in an MFA program.
The workshop is one hour and open to attendees at all skill levels.
